The bright white tablecloths contrast with the dark and dimly lit dining room. Enough about the ambiance and on to the food...The steak was superb. I ordered a medium rare bone-in cowboy ribeye. It was cooked perfectly. The steak had a ton of flavor from the char and was delectably juicy. The mashed potatoes were a classic buttery whipped side that paired well with the steak. The server was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. This under the radar steakhouse really exceeded my expectations. ”
“ Mark Joseph Steakhouse is a nice little steakhouse that has a grown up atmosphere. I came here during the Knicks playoff run and the vibes were perfect. Bartender was attentive and friendly. I ended up ordering a Tomahawk to go with my beer and Martini. Steak was cooked medium rare perfectly and was delicious with plenty of flavor. ”

“ I came here with a group of coworkers on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was very empty with only a few patrons at the bar. We were quickly seated and ordered appetizers for the table. We had the Canadian bacon, mozzarella / tomato plate (which the waiter cut up and served for us), fried calamari, and baked clams. For dinner we ended up getting the Porterhouse Steak for 12. The meat came cut and the waiter served it to each of us. We ordered multiple sides (hashbrowns, broccoli, steamed spinach, and mushrooms) and all we served into our plates by the waitstaff. The steamed spinach and the broccoli were very bland. Overall , the food was good and the service was attentive, but not annoying. ”
